North Dakota Social Workers CE Requirements, Accreditations & Approvals

North Dakota Social Workers

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, NetCE is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit.

The North Dakota State Board of Social Work Examiners accepts courses from any provider who is ASWB approved.

Continuing Education Requirement

NetCE is an approved provider through CE Broker, Provider #50-2405.
NetCE will electronically report successful course completions to CE Broker.

The North Dakota State Board of Social Work accepts NetCE courses.

LBSW, LCSW, and LMSW are required 30 hours every two years, 10 of which may be completed by independent learning.*

A minimum of 2 of the 30 hours must be in ethics.

* NetCE courses are considered independent learning.
