Kansas Psychologists
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
The Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board accepts courses from any provider who is approved by the American Psychological Association.
Continuing Education Requirement
Psychologists are required 50 hours every two years, 40 of which may be completed by individual study (with exam). A minimum of 6 of the 50 hours must be in diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders and 3 in ethics every two years.
* NetCE courses are considered individual study and include an exam.
