New Jersey Pharmacists / Pharmacy Technicians

In support of improving patient care, NetCE is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

NetCE will report your credit to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), provided that you add your NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth to your account. The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs Board of Pharmacy accepts courses from any provider who is ACPE accredited.

Continuing Education Requirement

NetCE will report your credit to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), provided that you add your NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth to your account. If you select to opt out of entering this information, you agree to not hold NetCE responsible for reporting your credit.

Pharmacists are required 30 hours every two years, 20 of which may be completed by non-didactic means.* A minimum of 3 hours must be in pharmacy law and 1 hour on prescription opioid drugs, including alternatives to opioids for managing and treating pain, and the risks and signs of opioid abuse, addiction, and diversion every two years.

Pharmacists authorized to perform immunizations are required 2 hours related to immunization training every two years.

Pharmacists authorized to engage in collaborative drug therapy management are required 10 hours in each of the disease states of the Collaborative Practice Agreement every two years.

Pharmacy Technicians are not required continuing education at this time.

*NetCE courses are considered non-didactic.
