Missouri Pharmacists / Pharmacy Technicians
In support of improving patient care, NetCE is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
NetCE will report your credit to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), provided that you add your NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth to your account. The Missouri Division of Professional Registration: Board of Pharmacy accepts courses from any provider who is ACPE accredited.
Continuing Education Requirement

Pharmacists are required 30 hours every two years, all of which may be completed by correspondence courses.*
Pharmacists renewing their notification of intent to immunize must complete 2 hours related to the administration of vaccines or CDC immunization guidelines every two years. Hours may be used to satisfy continuing education requirement.
Pharmacists renewing their certificate of medication therapeutic plan authority are required 6 hours in medication therapy management every two years.
Pharmacists who dispense/fill prescription orders for blood-clotting products are required 4 hours related to blood-clotting factor concentrates, infusion treatment or therapy, or blood-clotting disorders or diseases every two years.
Pharmacists are encouraged to take suicide assessment, referral, treatment and management for continuing education credit. ACPE-accredited courses do not require Board preapproval.
Pharmacy Technicians are not required continuing education at this time; however, employer may require maintenance of certification.
*NetCE courses are considered correspondence.
